Love Languages.

As I was driving home from St. George with my sister Lyida, we got on the subject about the different love languages. It got me really thinking. I finally (not really, just procrastinating homework) got the time to research it a little bit!

As I was reading through it I was trying to figure out what I was. I took the quiz and my highest points were Acts of Service (10) and Words of Affirmation (8). If you want to know what you are go here and take the assessment. It's actually very interesting.

Mine-- Acts of Service and Words of Affirmation is totally what mine are! Sounds like I'm needy but that's how I show I love someone or appreciate them.

I'm trying to convince my sister to buy the book so I can read it after her!

What kind of love language are you? Or what love language do you THINK you are?

Please. Just stop talking.

So I'm not trying to complain or anything.
That is NOT what this blog is about.
I can't help it though-- have you ever had someone that won't SHUT UP in class?
Yeah, you got it! I was blessed to have one this semester.
It's CSIS; the easiest class ever. Especially if you read the book step by step.
Well there is this girl that will ask every single time in class, how to open the file.
She's an older lady. All I have to say is if I were that old and didn't know how to open a file on the computer I would just call it quits and think, well I made it this far!

Anyway! I'm so super excited about Spring Break! I'm going to Colorado with my sister and her family. I'm super excited. We're going to be going going on a train ride! Has anyone been on a train? Please tell me it's incredible!
Tell me, all! What are you guys doing for Spring Break?

A shout out to Laura! I think you're the only one I know as of right now that is super anxious for spring to get here! We'll have to go for a picnic and fly a kite when it gets to that point in our lives. Okay (I hope you read this specific blog)?

I hope everyone is having a non stressful semester. I know Chemistry is kicking me in the rear end. Keep up the hard work everyone!

Want them? I NEED them.

Aren't these shoes so cute??
I want... nope, need them!
I seriously have been looking at them for days.
I ordered pants from this website and thought it would be too silly to buy these shoes along with my purchase. Well now? Yeah, now I wish I would have just bought them.
Has that ever happened to you? I hope I'm not the only one.. (sorry about the huge picture of them).
If you don't think these are cute (yes, I'm making a huge deal out of these simple flats), take a look at the rest of their shoe selection.

September 17, 2011

September 17th! Not only is it my wonderful nephews birthday, I'M RUNNING A HALF MARATHON! This gives me plenty of time to prepare myself to actually do it. I was going to do one in April but there is no way I can do that one. My sister Lydia and I made a goal to start doing this running thing (along with Jessica and Jennifer). I'm nervous since I've never ran anything before but oh I'll do it and I'll be proud. The one I'm running starts at Woods Ranch and ends in the Canyon Park. If you're interested, go here and take a look yourself! So for the first little part of the run, it's down hill. Which is good, right? :) Sometime in the summer, us four are going run a relay. We'll all be running two legs of three miles. Not too hard... pft! NOT! I'm getting nervous to do that one. I need to start getting better at this stuff.

Well I just thought I would let you all know that I'm going to actually do this. I'm going to work my way to run in the Summer Games sometime. I get grief from some people that I won't be able to do it. I don't know how long it'll take, but I'll accomplish it sooner or later!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day yesterday. I know I had a good time watching the Bachelor and watching cute little Taylee!

"The Rubber Band Man"

Wow, I haven't blogged for some time now! It's been, what, a month? Oops. I'll be better at posting more :) It's just hard when your life only consists of school. School is going great, by the way! Remember when I was freaking out about Chemistry since I've never taken it at all? Well I'd like to announce that I'm doing GREAT. I know that sound egotistical (characteristic of those having an inflated idea of their own importance-- perfect definition) but oh boy I'm so proud of myself.

Anyway, you are all probably wondering why the title of this blog is "The Rubber Band Man" right? Well my friend Josh (one of the missionaries that taught me-- best missionary) and his friend Tyler are making episodes of "rubber band man" and the adventures they go through. It's seriously the funniest crap you'll ever watch. The last one they posted was them in the McDonald's drive-thru. Watch it if you want to laugh. You might have to know them to find it humorous but try it out, it wont hurt anything. If you do like them, subscribe! They live in Florida and I can't help but be envious of the weather they have right now. It looks so warm and spring-ish! I'll go back and visit one day. When is the question.

Well that's it for today. Like I said though, I'll try and be more active with blogging!
GO CHECK OUT "THE RUBBER BAND MAN!"

Love you all!
